ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR A NEW COMPOUND

The client was developing a compound in a
new therapeutic area and wanted to ensure that the clinical program provided the claim structure required for market success.

In addition, the client needed a detailed understanding of how competitors had
implemented clinical development programs historically. The client also wanted to talk with
key opinion leaders (KOLs) to determine what enhancements should be considered in the
future.

Specifically, the client wanted to know if one development strategy resulted in faster
development and approval timelines relative to others.

MattsonJack's Science and Technology Assessment and Marketing Research practice specialties combined to provide a clinical review of currently marketed products, including critical development issues, timelines and information for future programs.

This would require reviewing and assessing the importance of presented data across five tumor types and 12 technologies.

The client engaged MattsonJack for analysis and expert opinions on key oncology presentations, posters and abstracts from one of the largest annual oncology meetings.

MattsonJack reviewed the meeting schedule, identified key clinical findings and assigned coverage of important topics and sessions to more than 15 MattsonJack meeting attendees.

MattsonJack staff held an internal review to determine the importance and market impact of key data (positive and negative) presented at the conference.

Senior MattsonJack staff participated in a conference call with the client's top managers and constituents to present impressions of the meeting and to highlight the advances, winners and losers.
